CU FIGHT FRAUD
Welcome! I'm so excited you found your way here. CU Fight Fraud was created out of a deep love for this work and the people who do it. After years of working in fraud, and operations roles (often wearing way too many hats), I realized something big was missing: real-world support from someone who actually understands what it’s like to be in the trenches.
I built CU Fight Fraud to be the resource, teammate, and cheerleader I always wished I had. Whether you’re starting from scratch, feeling stuck, or just want someone who gets it — I'm here for you.

Let’s build stronger programs, protect our members, and make this work a little lighter together.

With you in the fight,
Hailey
About me
Founder | Fraud Expert | Host of Banking on Fraudology Podcast

I’m Hailey Windham — a Certified Financial Crimes Specialist, speaker, podcast host, and founder of CU Fight Fraud, LLC.

My career began in community banking, where I quickly learned that fighting fraud isn’t just about catching criminals — it’s about protecting people. That belief has shaped my journey through fraud operations leadership, law enforcement collaboration, and now, consulting with credit unions, community banks, and other organizations across the country.

Over the years, I’ve:
-
Led fraud teams through rapid growth and crisis
-
Built ambassador programs that empower frontline staff
-
Partnered with law enforcement to shut down scams
-
Advocated for victims and driven awareness on major platforms
-
Hosted the Banking on Fraudology podcast to share stories, strategies, and solutions

My Core Values:
-
Empowerment: Equipping people with the tools, training, and confidence to fight fraud where it starts.
-
Community: Credit unions and regional banks aren’t just clients — they’re my people.
-
Culture: Building organizations where fraud prevention is everyone’s responsibility.
-
Action: Strategies that move the needle, not just fill a binder.
-
Integrity: The same energy and transparency on a conference stage as in a team huddle.

What Sets Me Apart:
I blend frontline experience with high-level strategy. I speak fluent “fraud ops,” but I can also communicate risk in a boardroom or break it down for new hires. I don’t do cookie-cutter — I build fraud-fighting cultures that work, with heart, hustle, and a little Southern grit.

If you’re ready to fight smarter and lead with impact, I’m here for it.
